Enhancement Requests

The enhancements will be reviewed by the PolyData SA Support team to determine feasibility and priority. Status updates will be noted on this page as they are determined.

Scheduling Activities

The following enhancements have been requested for the Scheduling Activities page.

Scheduling Prompt

• Ability to determine the demand for a course while confirming that students had met pre-requisites by answering the question "what are the number of students (in a particular plan/sub-plan) that have taken Class X but have not taken Class Y"
• Ability to determine the number of students that have taken Class X, Class Y, and Class Z, but have not taken Class XX"... Or "have not taken Class XX or/and Class Y

Course Enrollments Summary

• Ability to drill on the “# Haven’t Taken” column to see a list of students
• Ability to use the Analysis Database (Degree Audit) to determine who has not taken a class

Enrollment Monitoring

The following enhancements have been requested for the Enrollment Monitoring page.

Enrollment Monitoring Documentation

• Provide use scenarios on how to use this page (need help from OAR and campus users)
• Create Captivate videos of usage scenarios

Course Enrollment Monitor

• Ability to see “real time” data or refresh data more frequently than once per day
• Add flag to show when class has multiple meeting patterns
• Add another view showing all meeting patterns
• Ability to calculate cost of instruction by linking to other functional areas such as Labor Cost and Finance
• Add college-based fee indicator (In PS? Data not in warehouse.)
• Ability to drill on the number enrolled and analyze the population on various fields:
  • Expected grad term
  • Class level
  • Cal Poly units
  • Higher Ed units
• Ability to Analyze Waitlists
  • Ability to “simulate” the PS enrollment engine to determine if students on the waitlist are eligible to enroll in the class.
    Have students on waitlists met pre-reqs? If not, they will never be enrolled.
  • Ability to determine open times for majority of students on waitlists in order to offer another section at the best time

The following enhancements have been requested for the Student Lists page.

Student Listing

• Ability to view counts of each department in a college, either with a new 'Summary by College by Department' view or by adding the ability to drill on a college in the Summary view to see department summaries within that college.

Grade Monitoring

The following enhancements have been requested for the Grade Monitoring page.

Grade Roster Monitor

• Ability to exclude University level (OAR) "W" assigned grades from the "grading in progress" work flow status.
