What is a PolyData Dashboard?
A PolyData Dashboard is an online application that allows you, the user, to access a variety of Cal Poly information based on a series of criteria that you specify.
- When you log in, you will see the dashboards you are authorized to view. Security is currently at a dashboard page level so if you can see a dashboard page, then you have access to use everything on that page.
- Dashboards are constantly being improved with new Dashboards, new pages for existing Dashboards, and new information and presentation options being rolled out on a regular basis. Page through the Dashboards you have access to and play with the options to see what is currently available. As you go through the training videos, you’ll learn how to navigate around Dashboards to narrow the data down to only what you need through selection criteria and drill downs.
- For information concerning specifics within a Dashboard you have access to, you can use the links on the right side of this page for that dashboard, or contact the functional administrator for training opportunities or specific questions. Functional contact information is available within dashboards on the “Welcome” dashboard or in this site on the Dashboards home page.
- Please see your manager if you have any questions about which Dashboards you have access to or questions about using the data.
Notes about PolyData Dashboards:
- Data in the dashboard is not "real-time" data. It is refreshed each night from the PolyData Warehouse so it will always reflect the data as of the end of the prior day.
- Safari is not supported for use with PolyData Dashboards
How do I log into PolyData Dashboards?
Logging into Dashboard is as simple as logging into your Cal Poly Portal.
- Go to my.calpoly.edu.
- Login with your username and password.
- Click on Login.
- Click on the Go button next to PolyData Dashboards under the Single Click Access box.
